Epoxy Floors: An epoxy floor will take two days minumum for a typical garage because they take longer to dry and do not include the benefits of polyaspartic coatings. Epoxy floors cannot be used right away as dry/cure time is longer. Epoxy is best for  metallic floor systems, also known a marble epoxy floors or designer floors. 

For both coating types, the timeframe can vary depending on the size and complexity of the project.
