Warranty includes (1) year warranty on workmanship. A limited three (3) year warranty against peeling and delamination from the concrete substrate or staining from incidental spills of oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, gasoline or diesel that are promptly removed (wiped up within twenty minutes of spill), as a result of faulty installation or manufacturing defect in floor coating materials. Our warranty protection is provided to the original consumer or commercial purchaser as long as that purchaser owns the building in which the floor coating materials were installed.
Residential Garages
Kongcrete Coatings protects your floors with a HomeLife Residency Warranty for up to 5000 square feet of floor coating materials installed in residential garages. This warranty provides long-lasting protection and peace of mind for the duration that the original purchaser is living in the home where the coating was installed. This warranty protects against issues like delamination (peeling) from the substrate and severe cracking. This warranty also covers hot tire markings and stains caused by oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, diesel, or gasoline spills. For best performance, spills must be cleaned up within 20 minutes of occurrence and are covered for (10) years from the installation date.

Unlike many 1-day floor coating contractors, Kongcrete Coatings protects your investment with a Thick Moisture-Mitigating Coating System. Most One-Day Coating Contractors do NOT warrant protection for moisture related issues which is the MAIN cause for floor coating failure – apart from improper surface preparation.
Here are One-Day Coating Contractor warranties to be wary of:
- Our warranty does not apply to hydrostatic pressure or moisture vapor transmission levels greater than (8) lbs.
- Contractor will test for such moisture and suppress it where needed but cannot warranty that such moisture will not cause peeling or delamination.
- Residential Garage Floor – This warranty excludes damage to the coating resulting from moisture below the coating material, efflorescence, hydrostatic pressure.
- This warranty does not apply to damage caused by a hydrostatic water problem, moisture vapor permeating the concrete slab…This warranty does not apply to delamination caused by improper substrate condition, or an internal failure of the substrate.
Exterior Surfaces
Warranty includes (1) year warranty on workmanship. A limited three (3) year warranty against peeling and delamination from the concrete substrate or staining from incidental spills of oil, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, gasoline or diesel that are promptly removed (wiped up within twenty minutes of spill), as a result of faulty installation or manufacturing defect in floor coating materials (up to a maximum of 5,000 square feet) is provided to the original consumer or commercial purchaser as long as that purchaser owns the location at which the floor coating materials were installed.
Exlusions
This limited warranty does not apply to, and Kongcrete Coatings will not be responsible for, normal wear and tear, any damage to floor coatings or other property caused by improper repairs made or attempted by anyone other than Kongcrete Coatings, faulty maintenance, misuse, abuse, gouging, neglect, extreme temperatures, cracking or shifting of the foundation or substrate, defective substrate, changes in hydrostatic pressure or moisture vapor transmission, battery acid, brake fluid or other industrials solvents or fluids, or as a result of any accident, casualty or natural disaster.
Remedy; Limitation of Liabilities
Kongcrete Coatings exclusive obligation under this limited warranty shall be, at Kongcrete Coatings sole discretion, repair, or replacement of any specific area of floor coating evidencing peeling or delamination or, to the extend covered by the above warranties, to staining or to refund of the original purchase price. The foregoing 15-year warranty will be the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy against Kongcrete Coatings Co., LLC. In no event shall Kongcrete Coatings liability to any purchaser or other party for any claim of loss, damage or otherwise, arising out of or relating to the products and services provided by Kongcrete Coatings exceed the price paid for such products or services by the original purchaser, and in no case shall Kongcrete Coatings be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to injuries to persons or damage to property, loss of use, profits or anticipated profits.
Transparency of Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damages or issues resulting from:
- Improper installation not carried out by Kongcrete Coatings Co. or its authorized representatives.
- Changes in the ground substrate caused by external factors, such as, structural movements, soil shifts, or other geological conditions.
- Substrate contamination or defects existing prior to the application of the concrete coating.
- Extreme weather conditions or natural disasters.
- Any alterations or modifications made to the coating after its initial application without approval from Kongcrete Coatings Co.
THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY GIVEN BY KONGCRETE COATINGS CO. LLC WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES, PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS PROVIDED UNDER THIS CONTRACT. KONGCRETE COATINGS CO. LLC MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND HEREVY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHATABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY MAY NOT BE EXTENDED OR AMENDED OTHER THAN IN WRITING SIGNED BY KONGCRETE COATINGS CO.
